Chichen Itza Private Cenote/food experience & the magic town of Izamal

We will start this beautiful day by picking you up at your stay in Merida Yucatan, the goal is to arrive in Chichen Itza early, since it is the most visited in the area, at that time we will have the opportunity to enjoy the site with few people, have better pictures and take advantage of the refreshing morning.

Inside the archaeological site, the guide will explain to you the importance of the city and the Mayan civilization. Afterward, we will continue to cool off and swim in the refreshing crystal clear water of a private cenote (natural sinkholes, unique in the Yucatan Peninsula), which is located in the backyard of a family house whom found it by a stroke of luck , we will eat lunch in their home and taste the delicious home made flavor.

Then we will hit the road again to visit the magic town of Izamal where we will have the opportunity to climb a Mayan temple and observe the town from the top, walk among the beautiful houses painted in yellow, and take great pictures of the convent. Finally, we will head back to Merida.

Itinerary

• 6:00 am Depart from meeting point to Chichen Itza ( pick up at hotels starts 5:30 am)

• 8:00 am Visit the archaeological site of Chichen Itza.
• 11:00 am Visit and swim in the private cenote.
• 12:30 pm Lunch time and swimm in a private cenote
• 02:30 pm Visit Izamal and climb a mayan pyramid
• 3:45 pm Back to Merida .
• 4:30 pm drop off at the meeting point or your hotel
